YouTube授權電影免費看　美墨等地先行上線

Google 旗下影音平台YouTube已於上月上傳近百部好萊塢正式授權電影，供民眾免費觀賞，包括《魔鬼終結者》(The Terminator)、《全民情獸》(Zookeeper)、《金法尤物》(Legally
Blonde) 等影片，以廣告置入的方式讓使用者免費觀看，利用此方式平衡收益與支出，同時內容持有者也能獲得合理的分潤。不過目前僅美國、墨西哥、中南美洲、紐、澳、日、韓、歐洲部分國家可收看，台灣還未開始實行這項措施。

過去YouTube的收費模式為消費者透過YouTube Premium以單片付費方式觀看電影，就如同iTunes及Prime。隨著串流影音逐漸成為主流娛樂管道，透過網頁上媒合廣告，或是推薦內容廣告來獲取營收，將會越來越難追上每天支付的成本。因此YouTube產品管理總監Rohit
Dhawan表示，基於用戶需求，推出優質影片的廣告合作投放，不僅造福網路受眾，也替廣告商提供額外良好的機會。

此種置入廣告式的影音串流作法，YouTube並非市場中的先行者，串流媒體如Roku、Vudu、Tubi等皆早已採用這種方式營運；Spotify也藉由在播放過程中穿插廣告內容，以支撐音樂成本；另外Amazon目前也正在開發置入廣告式的影音串流應用，可以看出影音平台往置入式廣告方向尋求營利解方的趨勢。

目前YouTube的電影資料庫還太小，Rohit Dhawan表示，未來會加入更多的電影到免費播放服務之中，只是現階段Google仍以實驗性質進行測試，未來是否成為正式服務，以及將服務擴充至更多地區，有待日後觀察。
